Our Funeral Services
For any number of reasons a low cost funeral might be the preferred choice for your loved one, allowing you to celebrate their life later in your own way. Be it a party at home, taking their cremated remains to a favourite place or even a memorial service in church.
Where we are different is that we do not limit you to just cremations; we include burials in our services, and we are flexible enough to allow you some options to attend the service without breaking the bank.

An Affordable Funeral
Nowadays many people want to be involved in their loved one’s funeral, to celebrate their life and the way they lived it, rather than the rather outdated confirmation of their faith. Doing so enables them to accept one of life’s certainties, to grieve properly and fully and to move on with their own lives.
And the more you do toward the funeral whether its a cremation or a burial, the less we have to do, making it all the more affordable.
What you can expect
We will deal with you online, by email or on the phone. Once notified of an instruction you will tell the hospital, nursing home, GP that we are being appointed and they will send us any relevant documents electronically. If HM Coroner is involved, tell the Coroner’s contact officer and they too will send the paperwork to us electronically.
The cause of death certificate will be sent electronically to the registrar and you should make an appointment with them to register the death over the phone.
The registrar will send us the authority, again by email. If a cremation form 4 is required, the doctor will complete this and email it to us. The doctor’s fee, currently £82, will be added to yore account.
Paperwork for the crematorium or cemetery will be completed by us in a telephone conversation with you and emailed to you along with our invoice for your chosen service for electronic signature.
You will need to make payment to us electronically or by cheque to our registered address to clear no later than 7 days before the funeral.
Our Direct Funerals Include:
Collection and taking care of the deceased (additional charge applies if not from hospital and/ or out of normal office hours, at weekends or during public holidays)
- Securing, filling out and submitting all necessary paperwork for cremation or burial as appropriate
- A coffin suitable for cremation or burial
- Transport in a suitably equipped vehicle with an appropriate number of staff to our preferred partner crematorium or cemetery on a day that will be advised to you
